I'm now 56, and my husband is 49, so we're 7 years apart with him 'younger' and we've been married for ten years ... and will be married 'forever and beyond.' You're right, age doesn't really 'matter' ... I have a friend who is 13 years older than her husband, and they're as 'married' as my husband and I are. Your ladyfriend may think people will 'laugh at you' or at her ... and that really shouldn't matter ... what should matter is that you both LOVE EACH OTHER ... and frankly, I think you two are 'the perfect age' for each other ...

You tell your lady friend that she's not robbing the cradle, having a younger man in her life is going to keep her young. Age is only a number and should never be a deciding factor in a relationship, unless you are in High School that is. I wish you two the best, have lots of fun and enjoy each others company and let the age thing go, it's not an issue at all.

Not at your ages, I'm 46 and have dated women over the years up to 10 yrs older than me. I prefer a woman my age or older

Thats a fine age! My hubs is 35 and I am 27... It would be weird if their was a 20 year age gap.

are u aware that the youngest of hugh hefners girlfriends is 24. thats a 60 year difference thats like another generation. if its lve age doesnt matter

That age difference is not an issue. It is when you are younger. My parents are 10 years apart.

My lady is in her 40s and also seven years older than me. But older women know how to take care of their man and they dont play any games. They know what they want and the know how to give you what you want.
