JVC. eh? I got one too. Are you using a USB connevtion? Chances are, you are in need of a firewire connection.

You probably need a FIREWIRE connection. Take the camcorder to a store and match up a cable to fit it.

You most likely need a 6pin to 4 pin type.

Your computer needs to have a Firewire card installed too. Get that if you don't already have one. Make sure that the cable fits it.

JVC does not use USB to transfer movies. USB is for still photos.

digital cameras do no longer desire drivers, you need to be waiting to plug it in and positioned it in playback and it might vehicle obtain. examine yet another USB port. If it in simple terms refuses to artwork, then you certainly can use a card reader and reproduction/paste from the cardboard on your pictures folder. some inner usb card readers do no longer examine extra beneficial than a 2G card, which you will desire an exterior usb card reader (10.00). there is incredibly much less worry that way.
