Sh*t, a non-believer has no chance of winning the presidency, nor any other house or higher office in this country. Christians love to tout how they are persecuted and oppressed in this country, but this is a Christian-dominated society and government.

It will change. It will be a while yet, but I want Christians and theists in general to be on notice that they will not always prevail. Sanity and common sense will prevail in the end.

No, but they should reserve their religious observation for their private lives and take a strictly secular approach to their job, they are supposed to be representing everybody not just those who happen to be the same religion as themselves, if conflict of interest can be shown because of religious affiliation they should be retired from their position.

No, but they should definitely learn to keep the religious beliefs out of the office they hold and the decisions that they make.

yes i agree 100%! if all our political leaders were atheists they would not put their so called god before the country they swore to protect. if you notice gays dont have rights because bush is a so called christian and i soo think that's unfair. Christians hate gays and bush is puting his religious beliefs above whats fair!

the only ones in a leadership position should be the ones that you have to drag in there and who want to get out as soon as possible. Anybody actually wanting it is probably not fit for it.
