If your asking about barking then i can answer it. When ever he barkes spray it's face area with spearamint breath spray. It sounds mean but i saw it work right in front of my eyes. me and my dog were at obediance school and there was a dog that wouldn't stop barking so at the end of class the owner asked the lady who ran it how to make her dog stop. So she took a bottle took the dog and just stared at the dog. WHen the dog barked the lady sprayed the dog and said no. They did it a couple more times and then finally the dog stopped barking and the next class the owner said she saw a drastic change in the dogs barking. Now when u spray the dog he/she may try to wipe it off with her paws, so it may look like u hurt the dog, u didn't it just the spray irritates there nose a little but there are no long term affects from it!
Hope this helps!

You have some good suggestions here, BUT if you have a dog that barks trust me you need to buy a bark collar these can be purchased at your local vet store petsmart or Petco they are well worth the money and THEY DO WORK some people think they hurt the dog but if you want the dog to stop barking it WILL STOP we use the bark collar on our adoption unit we have to you get 15 dogs barking at the same time and it is TORTURE but normally after the dog barks and gets shocked a couple of times it will shut them up we dont leave the collar on very long we dont have to they work so well, we can take the bark collar off and if the dog starts up again, I can pick up the collar ,show it to the dog, and wham he stops again. they really do work just dont leave the collar on for extended times they are barking training collars they are not intended for permament collars, also you may need to invest in one, because according to your local city or town ordiances you could even face fines if the problem beomes consinsent and disturbs your neighbors, we have ordiances like that in place. so you may want to consider a barking collar I believe ours cost around fifty dollars, you may contact your local shelter for city ordiances or suggestions to help you as well GOOD LUCK!!!!!!

well it depends really. Is he barking when he hears something? or is he just barking to hear himself bark? if it's the latter, what you should do is wait for a time when he starts to bark incessantly. Completely ignore him, in fact, turn your back to him. The moment he starts to calm down and stops barking, turn back around and lavish him with attention, praise and treats. Eventually he'll learn that he gets farther with being quiet than with being noisy. Bribing a dog with peanutbutter doesn't always work. By doing that, he'll learn that if he barks, he'll get peanutbutter. It's like rewarding him for being bad. Muzzles are just plain inhumane in my humble opinion.
