I weigh 217 pounds and am 5 feet 11 inches tall.
i play football at school and workout everyday. I can still not lose weight. I do not look "fat", i am able to hold my weight better than most people. people say eat right, but i can not really control what i have for dinner because i eat with my family and have to eat what they make. They are food pushers.

Hard to lose weight with food pushers, I know I live with some.

There are two ways, increase activity or decrease food. You can do both, but, it sounds like you are going to have to increase the activity level.

I don't know how you are working out, but, you really cannot let your system get consistent. You have to switch it up a lot, different heavy weight exercises every day. Never the same exercises in any kind of pattern.

There was an article in either this month's or last months Muscle and Fitness (Joe Weiders rag) on using certain supplements to increase Growth Hormone levels at night to lose fat and build muscle. It was only a page, but, it might be worth reading for you. I checked out the prices and they were under ten bucks a bottle each, 3 different things I think.

I don't know if it will help, but, you can check it out at the library or with a friend who has the rag. I have been thinking about trying it out but have not done anything yet.

Well if your a football player your at the weight you need to be, if you start losing weight know you will also lose straight because you will be much lighter. All you really need to do is eat healthier and at a regular schedule not so much fatty foods. Have a good healthy breakfast that's always important and try not to eat after seven p.m. Good luck with your football games and with your goals to lose weight.

We all have this problem but a lot choose to ignore it . My friend tells me that I am the only one who tells her she is fat (overweight) that is as polite as I can put it however my brother tells me that people that live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones that is his polite way of saying I am carrying too much weight but on most occasions he is more honest than this even dare I say it at times rude breaking our rule on being extra kind and polite so back to your problem it is good to eat with the family but be polite and say no thank you and mean it you could say you have a stomach problem even go to the doctor they don't need to know what you have asked him just continue with the digestive problem eat less do not have sweets or seconds at breakfast have small quantities of sugar less cereal no toast --boiled egg not fried no bacon or sausage it is not easy and you Will be teased but be strong and at lunch eat fruit and vegetables start preparing your own lunch as this is a mature way of growing up and do helpful things around the house Read up about it as there is a lot of written advise just try to do a little as every little bit helps so good luck and go to it I hope to see you munching that apple or that carrot with great enjoyment.......

you dont have to make a three digit number your weight loss goal aim for a certain dress size or waist measurement

Before you sit down to eat, drink a full , tall glass of water. You'll have less tummy room left over to fill so it is easier to push yourself away from the table. Try it ; it works!

you only need to lose 30 pounds i lost 35 in 5 month try fish chicken and lots of vegs like pepers, good luck.
