I have an ex who knows almost everything about me… I live six states away. When I change my undisclosed address or not public phone number they know it. When I change my job they know it. What makes my ex such a good spy?

There is a lot of information that is public, and people can access it. Things like housing records, marriage records, etc.... are all public record, and anyone can go and look it up, in either websites like zabasearch, or by going to a government center. It's not that hard. Unfortunately there isn't much you can do to block this information from getting out. :(

It seems your ex is still very connected to you. They are finding this information somehow, but I'm wondering, what do they do with your new info once they have it? Are they harrassing you? What?

Being a good spy - hmmm anger & control issues. They want to keep you close, or at least know what you're up to. They could be hacking into your computer. Think of what strengths your ex has, then figure out what's the most harmful thing they could do based on that strength. Ex: Computer Programmer - sends you viruses, Banker - pulls financial records, Court Employee - jackpot.

In Canada, you're drivers license is very important to keep hidden, like the SIN #'s.

I'd be concerned if they are contacting you. E-mails, blank phone calls, strange packages being delivered without return addresses, notes on your vehicles, damage to your property without any explanation, stuff like that. Keep a detailled record of any strange events you notice, and report them to your local police department.

Hey, maybe they watch too many cop movies? lol

Jerry,

If your ex knows your social security number, everything an ex would want to know could be bought on the internet.

A SSN and $20 would buy you all the info. you would ever need.
