Is this a policy they have? Are they fake glasses?

Besides all the other answers, we get an amazing discount...sometimes the labs will front us a pair of lenses or a frame rep will give us a frame to basically advertise their products.
I accept free lenses because it allows me to try them out, and in all honesty, if I don't like the results, I DO NOT promote them to our patients. I want the best for them.

They're trying to sell you a pair of glasses you don't need. The employees wear only the coolest looking specs.

Same reason why Dentist and their employees always have good teeth. Because they know their stuff and want to set an example.

Cause they have good vision insurance and can afford them.
