I've gone out with a guy on 4 dates(2 of which have been Valentine's Day and my Birthday). Our interactions have thus far been positive; we share good conversation and there is definately physical chemistry between us. However he hasn't asked me on a 5th date yet? Could it mean that he's just not into me or is it too soon to tell? Should I just ask him out or should I just back off?

I feel a relationship should constantly be making a positive progress. Therefore.. it depends how long it has been since your last date. If he was really into you... then after your first couple dates you all would start seeing each other more regularly... so if its been like 2 weeks since youve hung out... then.. "hes just not that into you"

No don;t back off, if you like the guy go for it. I casually date a lot of girls and to be honest, I don;t ask most of them out after the first date, just because I find it difficult to commit and I am afraid of leading girls on. Also, its not that I don't like them but I find it extremely attractive when a girl has the confidence to ask me out.

Call him and try to make plans, if he blows you off, then its his loss.

Hmmm. Have you kissed? Kisses never lie and tell so much. Especially if he is "in" to you or not. Ask him out--if he says yes, he's "in" to you. If not, move on to someone else who would be be enraptured with your charms.

Just ask him if he thinks the relationship's going anywhere.
