for example, when you meet someone on myspace, how do you decide when you will meet a guy youve met on there? how long do you usually need to talk to them before you want to meet them in person? what do you prefer the first human interaction to be like? all of these questions i would love an answer to..

im the type of person that would meet someone the next day (not that i do that, that would be creepy as hell) if i didnt have anything going on, but i understand that others, and especially girls, arent like this, so i always wonder whether im asking too soon, or not soon enough, or are proposing the wrong "date." ladies, please help me, your boy needs help :( lol

this is what's awful about meeting people online.. i guess my problem is that i want to show interest, but it can come off as creepy simply because there are so many pervs out there.. i like the talking on the phone, which has seemed to work, idea

okay, i met my husband on the internet. I randomly imed him 5 years ago. We talked on the phone that night. Now i did know his friends but didnt know him. We talked on the phone for about a month till i called him and was like i am coming over now. We hung out for about a month or so and then he asked me out on valentines day. We got engaged 2 years later and got married 2 years after that. We have been together for a total of 5 years..=)

In a perfect world meeting people offline will be GREAT!! But Sometimes you do have those bad seeds out there and for women we have to be careful and picky... For me it takes me about a couple of months before I start warming up with the person online....I would say maybe having the women suggest when she should meet up with you so that way it doesnt seem like your being pushy about it... You can ask her putting the idea into her head but don't repeat yourself cause it will only feel like your pressuring her... And if she doesn't want to meet up don't take it to personally, she's just unsure...

I don't think the date is as important as the situation. If you want to meet a girl you met online, make it easy for her to bring a friend or two. Suggest that you meet in a public place with a few friends for lunch or dinner. This makes the meeting safer for both of you.

I wouldn't meet anyone you meet on the Internet. I mean you do watch the news? A couple months ago this girl met a guy from the Internet and ended up dead. So don't do it.

talk for a while and I mean a while on the phone first then set up a public place to meet away from where you live.
