There are several straightening tecniques:

1. Use a ceramic hair straightener. You don't want to use it too much though because it causes split ends and makes your hair go dry like straw.

2. There are special condictioners and air sprays that help straighten your hair.

3. You can wrap your hair around your head after a shower and leave it in for the whole night.

4. You can wear a shawl or scarf around your head before you go to sleep. It defrizzes your hair and usually makes it straight.

The most reliable strategy is using the ceramic hair straightener, but it is the most damaging one. Just don't use it everyday; maybe once a week instead.

Try a heating ceramic straightener. If it is exrea, extra curly check on the straighteners, at a beauty supply shop, for african Americans hair.

I straighten mine chemically, preferably at a salon. I used to go to Regis and loved it. Now I do it at home with kits you buy at the store but it sometimes comes out too flat on top. Just blowdrying it straight never worked for me.

Try putting hair jel on your hair then use a hair strightener. I have a friend who does that and most of the time it works but i have never tried it because my hair is already stright. Good Luck!

A good straigtener will reduce it to wavy. Blow-dry your hair, not air-dry. Many Hair magazines have suggestions and good tips. Instead of buying them, just read them in the store.
