If you suffer from excessive sweating, or hyperhydrosis, you are not alone. According to research nearly 8 million people living in the United States have been diagnosed with the condition.
Uncontrolled anxieties and fears, which cause your sympathetic nervous system to go into overdrive and stimulate your sweat glands, is the cause for most of those with this affliction. In many ways it is similar to grinding your teeth at night. Both are merely consequences of unresolved emotional stressors.
While this condition can certainly be an embarrassing one, there are natural treatment options available that can keep you from feeling the need to use an invasive solution like BOTOX or, even worse, a dangerous knock-off. The effective ones are, of course, those that address the cause. Some of these solutions include:
Practicing deep breathing exercises to reduce the stimulation of your sympathetic nervous system, which is often the cause of the excessive sweating that can occur when you are feeling anxious.
Reducing your stress triggers before they even have a chance to affect you, by utilizing tools that help address the emotional issues that underlie them. My two favorites are the Insight CD and the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT).
Washing under your arms with a mild soap once or twice a day to help reduce the bacteria in your armpits that actually cause the offensive odor. I have rarely found anyone who requires more than twice-a-day washings to eliminate the need for using antiperspirants.
Eating a healthy diet that includes a reduction in grain and sugar intake. Eating right for your metabolic type regularly works to help improve mental stability.
Also, please be aware that the answer to excessive sweating is not to pile on antiperspirants, as the aluminum they often contain, which can build up in your system, has been linked to Alzheimer's disease.
Finally, even if you can't find a way to completely eliminate your sweating problem, please think twice before considering surgery to correct it.
Remember honey, sweating through your skin is an important means of elimination for the various toxins you are exposed to on a daily basis. If you have hyperhydrosis, whatever method you choose to deal with it should not stop this natural and necessary mechanism.

I would either go to your primary care physician to get a prescription deodorant or ask a pharmacist what they recommend for an over the counter deodorant. I do know that a prescription deodorants are highly effective and you only have to put them on after you shower. Also, try using an antibacterial soap for a couple of weeks, see if it improves.

I've been using Drysol for the past 8 years and it's amazing. You don't need a prescription but you have to ask the pharmacist for it because they don't keep it on the shelves. My dermatolagist told me about it and it truly works...I used to sweat all the time...even if it was freezing cold and i went outside without a jacket..it was really embarassing but this works wonders!!!

Drink a lot of water and go to a dermatologist for a prescription lotion or pill. I did just that and now I only sweat a little and that's only when I work out. Good Luck!!!!

You need antipersperants, try a prescription one, excessive sweating can be a medical condition, and there are prescription strength pills and antiperspirants that help stop it.
