How do you get cupcakes out of a muffin pan? Should I wait until they cool completely??? I have more batter and need to make several other batches!

While they are still warm, use a spoon to turn them on their side. Once they are cooled, they will just slid out.

There are a few things you should remember. make sure you spray or oil the pan so that they will come out easily. Don't fill the cups too much or you will have a big top that may tend to stick to the surface between the cups. Remove muffins from pan while they are still very warm. Place a clean dishtowel-covered sheet pan over the muffin tin and flip it over. Muffins should fall out. For those that don't, carefully use a table knife to coax them out. If the tops are large, gently push one side with the knife until you can slide the tip down the side of the cup to loosen the cake. Hopefully, if they are still warm and not overbaked, they should spring back. If you didn't spray and the muffins are already baked and sticking like glue, then hand everyone a spoon and huddle around the tin. Enjoy the togetherness...=)

If the muffins are in paper cups, tip the pan on the side and they will fall out. Then just set them right side up on the counter about an inch apart to cool.
If they are not in paper cups, wait a couple of minutes, then remove with a spoon or other utensil by pressing gently along the edges. Happy baking and eating!

They should cool completely or they will crack.
Next time consider using cupcake liners or baking pan grease
which consists of 1 cup flour, 1 cup shortening and 1 cup oil mexed together till smooth and brushed into the pans before inserting the batter.
We used the grease in the bakery and they just popped out of the pans, never stuck

If you greased the muffin pan, you should just be able to gently lift them out by running a fork along the side and then, underneath. If you didn't grease the pan, yes, I'd wait until they cooled. And I'd grease the pan for the next batch. :-)

You have to let them cool at least 10min before getting a spoon to lift them out gently onto a rack* If you plan on making large batches...perhaps you should purchase more muffin tins next time you're out...OR...you can put remaining batch of muffin mix into a container with lid on..It will keep in the fridge ..you can take out in the morning, pop it into the muffin tins and make fresh muffins every morning*
I do it with my fathers recipie of Bran with dates and raisin muffins* My son and I love the homecooked smell of a healthy muffin in the morning*

Try spraying your entire pan with cooking spray if available. If not use butter and flour. I usually place the pan in a cool place and wait until they are semi-cool. The muffins should come out with no problem. If you want to get them out asap then test one. If it sticks wait a little longer. If it comes out with no problem then its probably safe to take the rest out.

They should be okay either way as long as the pan was either buttered and flowered or has paper cups. I acutally think there better to take out when there warm. I've tried to take them out the next day and such and they just stick. Good Luck!

I wouldn't let them cool completely, they may stick, after about 5 minutes of sitting on the cooling rack, I would check to see if they are ready to come out.
If these are for kids, have you ever tried baking them in cones, made for ice cream cones?
