why? oh why? would you want to endanger your computer... would you throw it into a tub of water? no you would not,
using limewire you are leaving yourself wide open to spyware, malware and viruses, do a search on here for limewire and see how many people have downloaded viruses using limewire

the latest version should work.. im running windows vista business edition and installed the latest limewire.. it works well... but if you got and older version it should still gonna work.. but the visual style would change.. if youre using AERO it would then changes to visual basic.. due to compatibility issue..
