My favourite shampoo is L'Oreal Elvive Nutri-Gloss. It's the best shampoo & conditioner I've used in years. It makes your hair really smooth and healthy looking.

As for products for using with straightners, GHD are really good, they can be pricey and they sell some of the products in step format to get you to buy more, but if you know what you want they are pretty good.

Biolage color care shampoo and biolage conditioner are the best for every day. Paul mitchell cleanse is great for removing styling build-up. My favorite shine products are lancome's leave in spray conditioners. Hair spray is the classic tresseme! straightening products are kenras smoothing cream and heat spray.

I really like Shear Splendor shampoo & conditioner by philosophy. The shampoo is gentle; the conditioner is very rich but rinses out clean. It's great for all types of hair, even style damaged hair. And it smells like lemon custard.

Pert Plus, however I have all natural hair no color no perm. If you have permed or color treated hair this might be to strong. I actually use a conditioner after I shampoo even if the shampoo has a conditioner.

Best Wishes,
Carol

Go to Sally Beauty Supply, they sell "Turn Up The Heat by Beyond the Zone" that will help to sheild your hair from heat, spray it on lightly then use your iron.

if you're talking about something to put in your hair so your straightener or blow dryer wont dry out your hair, then use nexxus (think i spelled it right). you can spray it in while hairs wet before blow drying, or after its dry before you straighten. you just straighten right over it and it makes it look so straight and sleek and shiny. it really does work. you can buy it from walmart for like 10 dollars. i guess it's kinda expensive but it actually does work and it doesnt make hair greasy like some heat protectant. but other than that, i use pantene shampoo and conditioner and leave in con. most of the time and it works wonders! after straightening i spray got2be shiny spray in my hair so i dont smell like burnt hair lol....just dont buy ion heat protectant, it makes hair greasy and smelly.

I like Avon's Advanced Techniques Intensive shampoo and conditioner. They also make a good leave in treatment.

shampoo & conditioner alone wont do it. after shampoo either before you blowdry or straighten your hair, use a spray or cream. you can search for it at any drugstore. like the loreal hair straightener cream. you apply it before straightening your hair so the heat wont damage your locks
