And if it does, is it dangerous? Someone told me that is what they put in Sun-in so all you do is put it in your hair and blowdry it. ?????

yes peroxide does lighten your hair, and it does it quickly. i used to wash my hair then pour peroxide over it. my hair changed colors every other day. but it also dries your hair out. if you put peroxide in your hair and go out in the sun, it will just about bleach it, or turn it greenish, depending on your hair color. its not the greatest thing for your hair.

it removes the colour from the hair. this is why you end up with so many different shades if you use just peroxide. it has different results on different people (due to different structure or colour of hair to being with).

it is not really -dangerous-, just unpredictable.

it lightens it, but usually, like sun-in changes your hair to an orangier shade, and not an attractive orange either
