I've been friends with benefits with a guy for four months now, but I want more. Trying to make this situation into a real relationship hasn't gone good. Should I continue to try and make a relationship with my FWB or break it off and try to make a relationship with someone else.

Break it off. FWBs causes too much drama. If you already tried to form it into a relationship and you did not succeed, then obviously it's not going to work. Stop having sex with your friend, because apparently you want more out of it, and he is not giving you what you are looking for. So move on, and try establishing a real relationship with someone else.

I have never fallen for my "friends with benefits" but I don't think it would work. Were you good friends for a while before you slept together? Quite a few of my male friends say that they would never date a girl who they have had one night stands with and I have to agree. I would never date any of my friends with benefits (I have a couple) because I don't think that relationships that start out as sexual never go anywhere. You need to ask him what he thinks about this, if he is interested then great but if not, then just keep him as a friend. Try not to go chasing after a relationship with someone- take things slowly and a great guy will pop up sooner or later

You should set down and have a talk with this friend and tell them how you feel. Explain to them that you would like to be more than friends and would prefer a serious relationship. Let them know that you can not go on the way it is. If they insist on FWB only then its time to move on

It's extremely complicated to switch from FWB to a committed relationship because then it's not as convenient. Let it go and find someone who cares for something other than your body.

Friends with benefits NEVER works. Eventually, one of the two people will want more. Whether that "more" is something as simple as hanging out and doing something other than...you know, the benefits part.

Friends with benefits NEVER works out. Your emotions have gotten involved and that is the deal breaker. To be honest any friend who would agree to this is not one at all. Time to move on.

deffinitly break it off, you obviously want more then just physical things, and he doesn't want to make any commitment to you. If he does like you then when you break it off he'll want a serious relationship, but don't stay in something that is just physical.
