All the people in those days were evil except for Noah
and his family members, so God only saved the good
(just as it will be in end times). He wanted to start life
anew after the flood, so he had Noah bring 2 of every
animal into the Ark so they could procreate and restart
a society after the flood subsided. They think petrified
Ark parts have been sighted on a mountain in Asia.
Russia refuse to let Americans dig to find out for sure.

The people were all corrupt, they turned against God.
starting to sound familiar? One thing becomes very clear as you read through the Bible. God has every intention of destroying this world because of its sin. God has done this once before when he sent the Flood in the days of Noah (Genesis chapters 6 - 8).
6By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed. 7By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.
8But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. 9The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
10But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare.[a]
11Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives

People are sinful, animals aren't would be my guess. If you have ever been comforted by an animal, you would understand. I love my dogs, all three of them, they can be especially comforting when people get on your last nerve.
When I am stressed, I can count on my dogs for companionship. As the animals were spared drowning, I am so glad!
There were people saved from the flood, they were the family of Noah, who was the only righteous man on earth at the time.

Because most people were wicked. See Genesis 6:5. Only Noah found favor with God and his family by extension.

When God told Noah that he was going to destroy the world because of its wickedness and gave instructions to Noah to save himself, his immediate family, and the animals of the earth, Noah did so, without question.

God did instruct Noah to save people. That's why Noah's sons and their wives came along for the ride.

He didn't! God told Noah to preach to the people the entire time it took him to build the ark, telling them to join him and his family in the ark when the rain came. No one took him seriously. It wasn't until a week before the rain started that God told him to take two of every unclean (male and female) and seven of every clean animal into the ark. The ark was built for people....not just animals.

The animals were so that Captain Noah would have something to sacrifice to God when the flood was over, which was exactly what he did according to the bible.
If he had taken other people they would have mutinied before allowing themselves to become post cruise sacrifices.

Did you forget about the part when Noah told the people for forty years that it was gonna rain? The people didn't listen. Much like today, I tell people that Jesus is coming back and they think it's a fairy tale. When the weather man forecasts snow, you can't even get a loaf of bread because people want to be prepared, but who will be prepared for the second coming of the KING!

Because the people were following the nephilim (1/2 angel-1/2 human) and they corrupted the people. Also, not lizards, snakes and fish, but most animals are just really cute. Okay, some lizards are okay too. We got all messed up, but the animals didn't.
