What interests do you share that you can talk about? What about a walk in a park, or if too cold, an evening of iceskating or games (Card, board, got a pool table?). If you like this girl, it should not be difficult to fill an evening. Just be honest and have a good time. And talk, they like that. Ask questions and LISTEN to what she says.

Most every little town has a bowling alley. Take her there for some retro, campy fun.
Tell her you want to buy her a book she's been wanting and have her pick one out for you to read, too.
No girl I know will be bored with flowers and dinner. It doesn't have to be fancy, just give it flourish and treat her like a princess.

Rent movies; if she's playful, get some games; get some topics to talk about; take a walk together, etc. It really depends on the girl though, doesn't it?

Depends on where you live...
rockclimbing is a lot of fun.
You can go just for a walk and talk.
Take her to the beach at sunset.
Take her to the aquarium.
there is lots to do....just use your imagination....
