The world is not split into Christians and atheists. And most religions have no trouble with science, evolution, or the prospect that there is no right or wrong. It would sound very atheist to a Christian.

Why do Christians assume that because I don't share their beliefs or one of the beliefs they hate( Islam for instance) then I must be an atheist? As a spiritual but decidedly non-Christian person, I am here to try to understand why so many people have been duped into believing all of the Abrahamic religion nonsense.

It only seems that way. The atheists are the most hated minority in the US, therefore they speak the loudest. They have to in order to get their message heard.

Just because I don't believe in God doesn't mean that belief doesn't interest me.

I am in this category and I'm not an atheist, but I know what you mean, I've seen tons of them on here, I think that they should stay off and go to church! But that's just me, I get very annoyed with all of their answers because they are misleading people. God is the way to go people!
