i met this guy two weeks ago. my cousin introduced him to me. we communicate through sms everyday. he calls me every night and like we are talking for at least 1hr. few days ago he was telling me about this girl he likes. and because it was just his first time to fall in love with this girl, he seeks advices. but 2nights ago, he called late at night just to ask something. which he reminisce the advices i gave to him. then, after a long talk, he asked me if he could court me and telling me i was that girl. i have been telling him that his feelings are not really love but he keep on insisted. its been 3days from the day he asked me. and still i don't know what to say to him. he fell in love me because of my sweet attitude. which i consider as a shallow person/infatuation. i don't want to hurt his feelings but i don't have feelings for him. but do you think he is true or not? i really can't unserstand this situation right now. i hope you can help. thank very much.

Why are you bothered whether he is sincere or not if you dont like him back..just tell him you are his friend..nothing more...do not lead him on because you dont want to hurt his feelings.

I don't necessarily take that to be shallow. He may be a romantic type who is premature to assess his feelings... True, he doesn't know you that well... If you are interested, communicate some more... See what happens. I know you said that you don't have feelings for him, but sometimes a friendship can turn into more. You'd just have to let him know that you take more time to determine your feelings for a guy. If you really don't like him at all whatsoever, make a clean break of it, tell him you aren't interested.

The only thing you can do is just tell him you aren't interested, and then stop talking to him all the time. If you are messaging him a lot and talking to him on the phone every night, then he will continue to think you are interested in him. Although maybe you are not meaning to, it sounds like you are leading him on.

well,maybe if you got to know him a little better you would feel the same way! i'm not sure. do you like him? are you getting to like him?? are your feelings getting stonger for him?? ask yourself that and maybe you will figure it out. and can you see yourself with him.
