I was 17, my parents were excited, and that was that. It lasted 7 months, he killed himself, my best friend raped me, and then I went to college.
Needless to say, it was a bad year.

Hey!!! I have never had or have a boyfriend.Cuz as a popular girl I can't be with one guy..because its gonna cuz jealousy....so I rather have a guy away from my country..and I've always learned that "Good things come to those who wait"....and right now am not ready for my heart to be broken by a guy,however at the begging of a relationship is great,as I've seen...and yer,I let my dad, family know whoever I love (like to see). and if u're curious am 18 years old...chow.

1st boyfriend at 13 - wouldn't recommend that.
Parents probably knew, but never said anything and he turned out to be nasty anyway.
Didn't have another boyfriend until age 26. Adult then so parents not involved.
He was nasty too.
3rd boyfriend was the keeper - age 27 - married at 28 and still married with 3 awesome children 19 years later

I was 11. My parents didn't find out until the next year. My mom kind of knew that I liked him from the start and she loved him.

My first bf was 14. My parents didn't find out till I told them 2 months ago. I'm 24 now.

I had my first date at 17. I told my parents, but not until the second date...actually I think my younger brother first brought it up, then I just confirmed the fact with them.

15 it lasted like a month and i was so nervous that the mere comment of the word boy in there presence sent me running into the next room.

I was 12 & i told my mom so that if they found out, i wouldn't be in too much trouble. but then my dad found out 3 weeks later and he wasn't happy at first till a few weeks later for seeing how slow i was taking it.

I was 10, and my parents did find out, but only because I told them. I'm not sure if you would count it as a date, because our parents came with us wherever we went. ^_^;;;
