I'm a guy, I have short hair and have used many, many products. ie. Matrix, Redken, Bedhead, Paul Mitchell, Alterna, American Crew... I still haven't found a product that will effectively smooth my hair down. My hair is so thick that it gets to be way too unmanageable at times, so I want to find something that will smooth it down first so that I can style it easier. Please help!!!

It is a Matrix product called k-pak you can buy it at usually any hair salon

Try Dove shampoo!! It's awesome! If I were you I'd get the travel size bottle so you can try it out, with out buying an entire 12oz bottle.
P.S. Smell it first, it smells clean to me, but it may smell a bit girlie to you. Dove also has this spray-in moisturizer that adds shine and helps control unruly hair.

simple but don't tell your friends. one way is to use pure hog lard with vanilla extract to offset the odor. but the oldest method is to use your own juice if you know what i mean.
