I would be sure to incorporate roses and candles in your centerpieces. There are so many ways to do this. I would recommend you sit down with your florists and look at some of the samples they have done. This site has some nice ideas: http://www.finishingtouchweddings.com/gallery.php

It really all depends on your budget. If price is not an option then I suggest a bouquet of roses with some greenery. If however you are on a tight budget then I would go to a store that has craft supplies in bulk for cheap. Try to find some type of glass plate that is clear or white that would be large enough to hold at least 6 candles. Then buy many different sized white candles. You can do so many different things with this. I would put rose petals all over the plate and it's surroundings since you are doing roses. You cannot go wrong with too many candles,it sets a very romantic theme and gives the overall appearance magical.

The biggest mistake for centerpieces people make at a wedding is to make them so the people sitting around the tables can't see over them or through them to talk to each other!!!! So long stemmed roses may be a bad idea.
What about some rose petals (fake, real ones stain) around some short hurricane vases filled with red hershey kisses? That's very romantic! Also, give your table names a theme instead of just numbers. Maybe each table can be named after roses, like the Tiffany Rose, the Lincoln Rose....OR each table be a place that you and your fiancee had a romantic time! Or a date that he gave you a rose.....Good luck!

If cost is an issue I would go your local dollar store. Get what i refer to as a fish bowl, small round with fluted edges. Put a sheer ribbon tied in a bow around the rim. Hot glue a rose to the center of the bow in the opposite color. Example white ribbon red rose. Fill the bowl with water add a tealite candle and place this on a small mirror. Very cheap very elegant You can do this if you have plenty of money to skip the dollar store and head for the craft store and floral store. You could also fill a large crystal punch bowl with water and float roses in it of coordinating colors to your wedding make sure the roses have bloomed and are open and that you cut off the stems. then add candles of coordintaing colors everywhere.

Well according to ur theme color, u should have flowers and roses with a tall white candle in the middle of the roses. this way u can light up all the candles from each center piece. Its a lovely theme.

It depends how much you want to spend and how many tables you need the centerpieces for, it could get expensive -- it also depends what your color scheme is, usually you take the colors that the bridesmaids are wearing as your theme color, so -
say they are wearing a soft pink dress... Try a vase with soft pink and white roses and wrap it in a gold or silver ribbon, or you could try a tall candle with roses arranged around it. Most weddings have roses in the flower arrangements, so it is more about what colors you have in mind. The soft pink and peach are very romantic colors, I had mine done in all lilac purple color to match with the bridesmaids dresses, it was really cheap and simple, just 6 roses on each table in a cheap glass vase, wrapped with sheer white ribbon, and it looked really elegant but was cheap so we could spend the money on other things such as the honeymoon!

Well it all depends on your color choices, but you could get some medium size vases and fill them with water and your color choice of roses but I would pack the roses in there, leave some room to be able to see through them. You could also use two different colors for roses. I've noticed that red roses tend to be a little bit more expensive than other colors. Red-white, red-pink, red-ivory, pink-white, etc. It all depends on what colors you want. You could then place small tealight candles in small frosted votive candle holders and then place them around the vase (just a few though). Then get some rose petals in the same color as your choice of rose colors and spread them around the vase also. You can use about anything to incorporate romance, for example; lace, ribbon, certain colors, chocolate, certain fruit. It just all depends on what you two want. Be creative and just have fun with it.

My friend had ordered the lovely glass bowls and filled the half way with water and stuck enough roses in it to fill it. the roses should be trimed up so they are short and so when you put them in the bowl the roses are right on the top. it looked so pretty. Then you can do some little white candles around the blowl, probably about 4 of them.

Get miniature rose bushes( the small 6" potted ones) in the colors you want and transplant them into a beautiful container ( I did this at a party with orchids) Next, get old pictures of you two throughout your courtship and put them in nice frames. Take rose petals and put them around the whole table. You could also find love quotes and type them up in pretty writing and frame them too.

You could get a clear plasic bowl (one of those fancy ones) , fill it with water, then put red rose shaped floating candles (easy to find at a craft store or online) in the bowl, then sprinkle red rose petals around the bowl.
