How to convert to Islam?

Islam is the best religion for me and fits me perfectly its peaceful beauitiful and the straight true path to God after i learned about it and heard all the bad stuff about it on the news and from my father who is a minister or priest at my church the stuff he said and he told me to stay away from every muslim so i decided to learn more about it and heard that 20,000 americans convert to islam every year so i studied it more and found the right path so how to convert to islam what do you have to do

muslims worship God not man like Jesus the only reason i lost faith in Christianity is because i dont believe Jesus is God but a messenger

How could you have looked into it and learned about it and found the right path and still not know the simple process to convert?

You must simply say the one phrase, and it is done.

So is your father a minister or a priest - something else to look into, I suppose. By the way, apparently other posters doubt your truthfulness. Based on the newness of your profile, I suspect that is true. Perhaps you are just trying to ignite people's passions, or is this your way of spreading the word - through deception? Sad, really.

Mashallah, that is so great, im a convert to ISLAM, and i can tell you Islam gives you peace and guides you to ther right path, dont take notice of the racist people here, they haeve never studied Islam and the KORAN and are jeleous and in denial, they are insecur, weak minded people who do sins like sleep around, drugs etc and know Islam forbids this, to convert to ISLAM go to a scholar or www.islamonline.net, www.islamonline.org, soacialise with practicing MUSLIMS, it is not difficault belive me, Islam gives more rights to women then anything, Islam is a peaceful relgion and gives you peace, may ALLAH guide you all you life. By the way Prophet Mohammed (pbuh) married Ayesha who was 9 years old so she could teach Islam to the women, it was her choice to marry and concented, the marriage was NOT for the sex or anything like this, but a way to teach girls her age and women around, Prophet Mohammed (pbuh) was shy to teach women and had so much respect to women he rather let women teach other women so therefore married Ayesha, and plus the fact those days all around the world girls at that age were marrying consented aswell, you need to study the Koran and Islam as a whole to understand this, these other people are jeleous, insecure, and dont know about Islam, Islam forbids the things they do and so therefore worship Satan, when ppl say Muslims do this and that its all rubbish, its the people who do this, NOT Islam, how many times have innoent Muslims been killed by Non-Muslims, how many Mosques have been destroyed, etc ppl r such hypocrtites here, even still Islam and many Muslims are forgiving, Saladin let all the Christians live when his army took Jeruslem , whereas the Christians butchered every Muslim child women, men to take the city, so u see ppl r confused, they are ignorant, they are lost, thats why they have unstbale life, they have affairs, have STDS, drugs, crime etc, you can Muslims do these things aswell BUT they are people NOT islam, just cuz a muslim does this and that dont mean Islam does this, its the biased media, propaganda, facist, stereotyoing and ppl who fall under this are weak minded and sinners, they cant handle Islam its too nice and strong for them, they want to have sex, drink, do sins and therefore go against Islam, they live in ignorance thinkign this life is eternal , they live in socierty where they have not been in hardship, all they see is telelvsion, food on the table all the time, spoilt, etc and then come to the conclusion of sayig there is NO GOD, they dont realise God test ppl in this life, God test ppl in differen ways to see if we can resist tempations, its about having faith, but there are strong minded ppl who god guides and there are weak minded ppl who satan guides. Its too easy to convert to Islam. just say "Ashadu an la elah ella Allah & Muhammed rasul Allah" which means "i witness that there is no God but Allah and Muhammed is his messenger". And u have to believe in it with all ur heart not just with ur tounge.. Just this is how to convert, in Islam its very easy way to reach Allah & ask for Allahs help...

Jesus is the way the truth and the light.

If you want to be a muslim just get married to any muslim. Let him beat u and keep u locked up in the house. Let him ignor u and force u to wear Hijab.
Blow up any Christians churches while reciting the quran.

Recite. Allah Akbar (Allah is great)

Read the quran where it says to murder the christians. If you do this then you are a muslim.

Allow some old muslim man to marry your 9 yr old.
Stone anyone who is making love without being married.
Cut the hands and feet off of thieves.
Do anything barbaric and you will be a muslim.
Mostly it calls for you to kill Christians and anyone who converted out of islam.

Also while the 20,000 are converting there are 50,000 leaving like me:D

Once you have studied asked all the question you want to ask and are sure it is the right decision for you, the best thing to do is to contact the nearest mosque to you. Ask to speak to the Imam and he will advice you what being a Muslim involves and after chatting with him if you feel you are doing the right thing the Imam will bring two witness and ask you to repeat after him. He will recite the Shahada for you to repeat and once you have done so you are a Muslim. Simple as that. It is not necessary to do this in front of an Imam but is recommended as he will be best able to advice you what to do next. You can ask him to introduce you to other Muslims in your area, your age etc, recommend books and Insha Allah once Allah has opened your heart and chosen you for Islam no one can sway you. Good luck and if you need to know anything else please dont hesitate to ask. I myself reverted to Islam two and a half years ago and it was the best decision i ever made. Don't listen to people who have no clue what they are talking about, listen to your heart, listen to the words of Allah and Insha Allah you will follow the true path.

Make sure you understand it exactly, then find a support group within the Islamic community and take Shahada, the declaration of faith (I testify that there is no god but Allah and Muhammad is His Messenger). You can take it in your heart anytime but it's best to do it at a Masjid with witnesses and support (or a Community Center) you'll find people who can guide you and they're quite often VERY friendly!
