I had gotten my head close in a sliding door when I was 13 months old. I had a HUGE blood bubble and my dad had to poke a hole in it and suck out the blood.

big up the bumbo chair???? the chair did not protect her unless it landed on her head. im not goin to have a go because u obviously feel bad enough already but bumbos are made for flat surfaces an say on the box NOT to be used on high surfaces as they may tip. the foam bumbos are made form is not at all made to weigh a child down.
i hope ur child is ok but please be more aware in the future
this is off the bumbo website http://www.bumbo.co.za
The Bumbo Baby Sitter is versatile and can be used safely and conveniently anywhere on any level surface, and is definitely the extra set of hands you have always been looking for – the perfect gift for that special occasion.
The seat does not require any uncomfortable straps or fasteners. It is designed that the baby’s own body gently keeps baby in place, gives a wonderfully new way to ensure maximum interaction and enjoyable communication with your child. Depending upon the individual development of the child, some babies will be able to climb out of the bumbo, so never leave your child unattended.
Remember, the Bumbo is happiest on the floor.

A friend did the same thing. She took her daughter to the ER, they released her because she had no symptoms. Mom was still worried, went to the doctor a few days later - turns out her daughter had cracked her skull in a couple of places. Take her back to the hospital, get her fully checked out. And don't ever put her on a changing table without your hands ON her again.

why would anyone want a similar story ,accidents happen ,but some silly parents put their children in the way for things to happen ,a nine months old baby is too strong to be up on any table , the next time let the baby baby-sit the parent ,the child probably has more sense .It is hard enough to mind them at floor level.

Accidents do happen. No-one is perfect, don't feel judged by putting them on the table - rush / pre-occupied - it happens.
As long as she is ok and sustained no injuries then chalk it down to experience and learn from it.

your kid should never be on top of a table without 100% supervision. NEVER.
You shouldn't be telling this horrible story. You sound like a very irresponsible parent.
If I were you, I'd delete this question now. You'll regret having this plague you. Anyone can look this question up forever if it gets resolved.
Delete now, moron.
