Bad boys are supposedly notorious for not returning calls,disregarding you as a person,treating you like crap,acting like insipid idiots,etc,etc,etc...what satisfaction can a woman possibly get from this and whats wrong with say,a nice guy who is into you and does lots of things with and for you?

Bad boys can be very attractive. Women see the danger and it drives us bananas. Think of it as a man. What do most men want? A lady in public but a freak in bed. Its all about who might be a good sexual partner. For me, I would like a nice guy. I've dated the jerks, adulterers, abusers, and mean guys. The bad boy type gets old quickly. I think when people get older, like in college like I am now, they actually want a real boyfriend and not some guy who isn't worth their time.

Because she's a total idiot. You can marry me. We'll do a wife swap. Your wife can have my husband. The only thing I can say about nice guys is that every once in a while, a woman wants a rough slap on the booty. She wants he nice guy to get a teensy bit rough with her. Every woman wants to be shoved against a wall and taken from behind... not always, but as a surprise. My husband and I are at the point where he just rolls over, does it, then rolls away. I'm bored out of my mind... I would never, ever cheat though. To keep myself amused, I just attack him sometimes. Keeps things interesting. You're wife is an idiot.

Several things, in my opinion (please excuse the generalizations about women- I tried not to, but I'm sure I missed).
1. Many women like to "change" men. They want to "tame" the proverbial wild stallion. To take a bad boy and turn him into a respectable husband is attractive to some women. It makes them feel special because they were the one to domesticate him. That means they would be the only one he truly loved.
2. Bad boys tend to be much more exciting because they tend to live in the now. They'll be impulsive, passionate and ignore the rules (I've never never known a woman opposed to breaking the "rules" for her.. cutting class, skipping work, etc.). I truly believe women love being a part of adventure and excitement.
3. Too often, nice guys are pushovers or too needy. Most women don't want that. They'd rather err toward the exciting but dangerous end of the spectrum as opposed to nice and weak.
Truthfully, I wouldn't worry too much about it. As people get older (in this case women), they know more about what they actually want. Eventually, someone will come around to the nice guy. Remember, you don't need all women to want you. You just need one girl to fall for you and that will make all the frustration (oh yes, there will be frustration) worthwhile. You'll be much happier if you're patient and honest with yourself and others about who you are. Eventually, that may lead you to someone that's perfect for you.
Of course, that's if settling down/marriage is the goal. If you're just trying to hook up, you may want to add a little bad boy to your arsenal.

I think its a sexual thing. Women want a bad boy when their younger because guys like that turn them on. And nice guys seem to innocent and nonsexual. Later in life after women have slept around with numerous bad boys made many mistakes and are more mature and possibly have kids from those bad boys and have aged and become less attractive to some of those bad boys; they look for the comfort of a nice guy to move in and add financial security for the next chaptor of their lives. Sorry man, but if your after any teenage girls or women still in their 20's, they won't want a nice guy like you. You better start acting like a jerk and kick around some puppies and trip old ladies around or something if you want any action.

women like the thought of oh hell it is the sex women love the thought of a man taking controll of the situashin women are not always looking for the real thing some times women are a lot like men all we whont is just to have fun and not wory about getting marred or folling in love when a women is redy for all thouse things you will be the first one she will see so good luch.

Go figure huh???? I had READ that it is the thrill and excitement of a bad boys image and which women believe that they are better in bed......Women don't want to be treated like yesterdays trash but it's the bad boy look and image that women think is hot and sexy........

Okay i'm opposite of this stereotype because I DISLIKE PIMPS/BAD BOY types. They disgust me.. for all the reasons above! lol

Women usually don't think about all that. All they think about the moment they see that bad boy is "Jeez, wouldn't he be one hot piece of arm candy?" I like the skater/rocker guy persona, but I hate "gangstas"; all that @$$ hanging out revolts me!
