As the previous stated, it could be diet - especially if you are taking some of the 'all natural' diet supplements. Many of them have ephedrine hidden as an all natural herb. I don't remember the herb for sure, I think its hooda, but don't quote me on it.

If it's not diet, diet supplements, caffeine, quitting smoking, drugs or alcohol your system may be over reacting to anxiety/stress. I was under extreme stress for over a year, during that year and even after I would be thinking of hundreds of things (mostly what would go wrong) and I just could not calm down. I finally went to my doctor and we work with some vitamins (added a B complex, a.k.a. B-50), but I ended up needing some medication. I was on it for about 6 months. I could not believe the difference. I would remember times I could not make a decision it would be like I was almost paralyzed. A few weeks after being on the medicine things did not look so impossible or stressful.

Look into all of the possibilities, but to not leave one out because it is distasteful or hard to accept. Take care.

Maybe your diet is not right for you. Be sure to not over do the sweets and pop, I have found out sweets and chocolate make me nervous.

Are you using a lot of caffeine? Try using only a slight amount of caffeine and watch the chocolate too it's full of caffeine. Try some chamomile tea and soothing music.
