OK, let me add some caveats then. Accompanying the fever you have an ever-present sore throat whcih makes it difficult to swallow, a permanent ear ache, interminable sinus congestion, and an unremitting and phlegmatic cough. Is that enough to opt for death?

I'd rather live the rest of my life with a 101° temperature.
Assuming the fever is just a fever and nothing more, then a 101° temperature isn't life threatening. My body would be uncomfortable, but after a while I'd become used to the increased temperature.
I'd rather live my life with my family; my husband and daughter, my dog; my life... with a fever than die today and never be able to see or touch them ever again.
*** To respond to your updated symptoms, my answer would still be no. I'll gladly live in pain if it means I get to watch my daughter grow up.

My body temp is always 99.8, and I am very happy to be alive.Your body will adjust to the temp, I don't even notice it any more. But when needed I can use a FEVER as an exuse to get out of just about anything:)

I'll take that fever anyday. Cause your body will adjust. And it's not actually 98.6 and your butthole and mouth is at a higher temp.

Live! To die is for ever (for sure). But you can't be sure that tomorrow will still have 101.

live, i think after a good while your body would be able to adjust to that fever..
