By not that ideal do you mean looks wise or personality wise? I mean looks can be fixed or gotten used to if the person is fantastic to be around. If they aren't great to be with than no it not okay to marry them.

Usually that is a one-way street to divorce court. Marriage is not easy. Even if you really love someone, daily living together can be a grind. They may be ideal for someone, even if they aren't for you. Be kind enough to them to free them to meet someone who can love them. -- unless you need them for a tax write-off or a green card.

Well, it is hard to answer that because your version of ideal might be impossible.
If you have to ask that question, sounds like you aren't sure.
Marriage is hard work. I would say be careful about compermising yourself just to be married.
