Try using a rusty chainsaw, on your neck.... ya that would work good. I can tell you already, it's going to look like s*it......but oh well, it's your body right.

Good luck getting someone to approve of what you're doing on here. Also so you know....rubbing alcohol will not clean your materials thoroughly enough and they use a different ink than the ones in an ink pen. The ones in a pen are toxic. Also, re: how deep the needle goes and different information about tattoos...no one's going to share that information with you because of the way that you're going to use that information.

Sorry babes...You're going to need to wait until you get old enough and you can get one in a tattoo studio.

Yeah....sorry....I dont think youre gonna get anyone telling you that tattooing yourself is a good idea. Its not going to look good, no matter how much of an artist you are, because you dont have the right ink, or the right equipment, or the right training, and its possibly very dangerous. My guess is youre either underage, or you cant afford a tattoo, or both. My suggestion, while youre waiting to turn 18, start saving your money to get a real one.

If you try and tattoo yourself now, the chances of you hating it when you're older are about 100%, and you're either stuck with it for life, or you'll have to go get a real tattoo to cover it up anyway.. Save yourself the trouble, and just wait for the real one.

You can probably get tattoo ink over the internet. I hope you are a good artist. I would definitely clean the needle with alcohol or hydrogen peroxide and use antibiotic ointment afterward! It is a bit dangerous to do. If it starts getting really red and sore after you do it, you might want to see a doctor.

that's hella stupid! my grandpa did that when he was younger, and guess what, he messed up big time and had to go to a pro tattoo artist and get it fixed! DO NOT use pen ink if you're going to do that, you will get ink poisoning for sure. you need india ink, you can get it at arts and crafts stores like "Robert's" or "Michaels". how my grandpa did it was he took a pencil, took the led out and put a needle in there. then he would dip it in the ink and tattoo himself. VERY STUPID!!!! he says that it needs to go through 3 layers of skin! and trust me, it hurts like HELL! this was back in the 60s i think and it was not a good idea! just go to a pro and then you'll have a much less risk of getting an infection that could KILL YOU!

this is not a very good idea, but there is a special ink that you used to be able to use, i dont know where youd get it, but its called indian ink( i would read up on it before you go putting it into your body). my boyfriend and his friends used it when they were young teenagers and they still have their tattoos.i would advise you have someone do it for you if youre gonna do it, and sterilize every single thing thats going to be involved that includes utensils(needle or whatever) hands of the person who does it(along w/ rubber gloves) and your skin. inkpen ink i dont think first of all is safe, and also i dont think it would stay in your skin, so you shouldnt even try that. remember that it will go into your blood, and be advised that you may regret a homemade tattoo later in your life so dont put it somewhere noticeable. again bad idea, professional is the best, but there you go.

the fact that you asked if you could use ink from an ink pen tells me you are not very smart. pretty dumb actually. take everyone's advice and don't be a freakin idiot. if you do it you deserve whatever happens to you. grow up. there is no point in getting a shitty tattoo of your boyfriends name on your arm. all squiggly and ****. you probably won't even be able finish it cause it will hurt too bad.
get a job. get an education. quit wasting your time coming up with stupid ideas.

Umm you should not tatto yourself without a professional tattooing gun your going to be risking big time infection and whatever you do do not put alcohol on a tattoo its very drying and will damage the work.

I suggest going and at least talking with a pro even if your hell bent on doing it yourself, they can at least tell you where to get quality tools and tell you how to lower your risk of infection.

Uuuuggghhh....please DON"T do that! You would be putting yourself at a huge risk for so many infections. There really is nothing you can do to give yourself a "clean" tattoo. You'd be sooooo much better off going to a tattoo parlor.

if you dont know the answers to these basic questions about tattooing why do you think its a good idea to give one to yourself?

did you expect people to not advise you against it on this board, seriously? a lot of the regulars on this board are tattoo artists and are the ones who get stuck cleaning up your self-inflicted mess...
