Could you please post the arabic lyrics to this song "law Sahmat" by Moustafa Amar. Here is the link to the video of the song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LsKfQYZeUw8 .
Also, if you could tell me in general what the song is about I would appreciate it. I think "law sahmat" means welcome, but i'm not sure really what the song is about, only that I like to dance to it. Thank you!

Thanks, I can not translate the words yet because I really don't know what Moustafa Amar is saying. Once I have the words written, then I can definitely try that.

Well, the name of the song is " Law Samaht" not law sahmat.
it means ,if you please.
The story of the song is that a very famous singer was forced to sing in a very low class wedding party after a very funny situation, that his cosine was dating a girl whose cousin is getting married soon and they want this famous singer to sing on their wedding so he was their Hostages ..lol
My question is do you read Arabic?if yes let me know please &I'll send you the lyrics of it .if not let me also know to send the translation.
You can send me an e-mail,.you can do that through my profile.
Would like to hear from you soon.
Have a nice day

Wow, you chose a really difficult song to find the lyrics to and definitely one that's hard to translate.
The song is from a movie. I don't know it so I don't know what's it about but I can try to guess from the clip. The title is "Law Samaht" which means "If you please". The song starts when a big guy holds a knife and tells the singer to sing, he rifuses and that's when he starts to improvise :

"If you please
If you please (different words, same meaning)
Lower your hand
If you please
That's not the way it's done
Lower your hand"

Then he starts to say things about himself, such as "I'm the only one who got beaten and didn't run" or "don't let the looks fool you, I can be mean".

Like I said, you chose a song that's very difficult to translate because it's basically in "common" arabic, not the one you use for writting, and it has many "slangs" that only Egypsions know (every country and it's own words).

I can post parts of the song, but not all of it beacuse I don't understand everything they're saying and I could be wrong in some places - I'm not egypsion.

( - - means there are words missing here) :

- - - -

The song continues but it's hard for me to continue with it. He says hi to some people and encourages the local soccer/football teams.

I hope I helped.
