i gotta reel problem with the local cops in my city becuz they r harassing me. i got in a fite with the?

assh ole neigbors a while back. they said my music was to loud. i told them to shut up and go to bed. period. i didnt hit nobody or nothing. but they called the a sshole cops and these jerks took the downstairs neigbors side. they locked me up and slapped me around when i had the cuffs on.. i wanna sue omebody for this bulls hit. the cops started in on me. i called the jerk landlord and told him he better do something about the cry baby downstairs or ill take the matter in my own hands. i havent heard anything back from the landlord but the cops now are driving reel slow past my house alot. i want something done about this who do i complain to about the cops and how do i sue them and the guy downastairs.

OMG!!! For starters from your question I can see you have a real anger management problem. The police are not harassing you because they are driving by real slow. Check your local laws, but in Texas Harassment can only be done by phone or in writing. So before you blame the police for something make sure you blame them for the right thing. The street out front is public and the police are free to patrol it. We drive slow sometimes because it's harder to see criminal activity if we are going the speed limit. also the neighbor or Landlord may have requested a frequent patrol due to your obvious hostility towards him.

I was not there on the scene that night, but if the police took you to jail I would say they had probale cause. As for them slapping you around, my guess is you did not like their decision to take you to jail and started to resist so they used force to get you to go.

Music is fine when it is contained to where only you can hear it. What gives you the right to force your music upon others by plaing it loud in the first place. All of this could have been avoided had you taken others into consideration in the first place. Sounds like your neighbor tried to do the neighborly thing and warn you about it before calling the police which he did not have to do. Then you had to get stupid and cause a scene so he was forced to call the police.

Have you ever stopped to consider that if you everyone else is the problem look for the common denominator. That would be you. So I would say your the problem.

You know that there are laws about how much noise you can make, right? It's called disturbing the peace, and you can't do anything about it. There are also laws about threatening other people, and I have to assume that this was part of the reason why you were arrested.

Sounds to me like the cops are doing the right thing, as your downstairs neighbor is apparently in imminent danger of being attacked!

You don't have the right to make as much noise as you want.

You don't have the right to threaten your neighbor with bodily harm.

You don't have the right to tell the police that they can't drive by your apartment to help keep your neighbor safe.

You don't have the right to sue your neighbor or your landlord because you're a dumbass who got arrested.

Catch a clue, dude....it was all you. If you can't learn how to live in society, then we have no choice but to put you in a place where you're no longer a danger.

Since you said that you told your neighbors to go to bed, I assume this was later in the evening, so there are definitely laws that could apply to your playing your music too loud.

It seems to me that you were either disturbing the peace or breaking a local "noise curfew", so the police were not harrassing you, they were doing their jobs.

I would advise against suing the police or your neighbors. It would probably cost you money to hire any attorney, and you woudl definitely lose in court.

Try to think about how you would feel if your neighbors were the ones playing music very loud, while you were trying to get some sleep.

Obviously, you live in close proximity to other people. It's time you tried to be a bit more considerate of them rather than trying to pick a fight and alienate yourself from your community.

playing load music is against the law in some states, and cities for noise ordnance. if you play real load like that and disturbed the peace, they have the right to phone the police on you. telling them to shut up and go to bed made it even worse for you. it tells your neighbors and the police that you don't care about anybody but yourself, and your music.

i think you have a major attitude problem and it'll only get you into more trouble in the future.

as for the crying baby. babies will cry all the time. they can't help themselves. if you decide to take the crying baby situation into your own hands, you'll end up facing charges of child abuse (penalties are much stiffed with child abuse case, then any other batter charges).

the best thing for you to do is, by headphones, or just play your music at a level that won't get your neighbors mad.
