Does anyone know how you take scenes from a dvd and upload them on the net like on youtube, or if there is a program that can help me do this please help also does it affect the uploading if the dvd is copywrited???

Use google and search for DVD ripping software, or DVD to AVI or DVD to MPEG software.

It is possible to avoid copywrite protection and copy these protected DVDs by using 'so to speak' DVD 'cloner' software that includes a CSS decryptor. Also using such software is NOT illegal, so long as you are using it for backup which you are doing ehem... U also need a DVD RW. It uses mpeg2 format I believe so u should have no problem uploading onto youtube {I think}

If youtube finds copyrighted info on their site, they will take it down.
