Mitchum, hands down. The roll-on is more powerful, but the "hydro-solid" is almost as strong, and it doesn't leave that white film.

I don't know if they make a women's line or not, but the men's unscented is completely odorless so it doesn't really matter.

It's really effective— you can even skip days and it still works.

Some people do believe that anti perspirants are harmful - I have a sister who refuses to use anything but baking soda or lemon as a deodorant. She has the opinion the aluminium in deodorants can cause problems I can see where there could be a problem with the thicker types that coat the skin in white powder, these must block the pores and could even be a contibuting factor in lymph glands swelling or getting lumps. In general use lightly and wash frequently is best option for the comfort of yourself and those who must be around you as when nothing is used the stench is vile.

I use dove and really love it. I used to sweat a lot as well and Dove is the only thing that worked for me

I'm a heavy sweater also. Dove does not work for me either, though I love how it feels.

The two brands that work for me on my running days are Adidas (I got it from the $0.99 Cent Only Store in Los Angeles) and Arm and Hammer.

Oh boy! I say "NO" to antiperspirant! And here's why ...

A review of the common sources of aluminum for humans found that antiperspirant use can significantly increase the amount of aluminum absorbed by the body. According to the review, after a single underarm application of antiperspirant, about .012 percent of the aluminum may be absorbed.

Other concerning sources of aluminum to humans are food, drinking water, contaminated air, and industrial and medicinal, such as vaccines, exposure.

The aluminum that is absorbed by your body from a typical antiperspirant adds up over time, and that aluminum can and does go straight to your brain where it can play havoc, as aluminum has been widely associated with Alzheimer's disease.

Also, the aluminum salts found in many antiperspirants could increase the risk of breast cancer. Other risk factors, such as shaving the armpits before using antiperspirants, may heighten the risk even further.

Mimics Estrogen

Aluminum salts, which account for 25 percent of the volume of some antiperspirants, can mimic the hormone estrogen. Chemicals that imitate that hormone are known to affect breast cancer risk.

Higher Risk Activities

Given that antiperspirants are used in the armpit, the aluminum salt concentration is highest near the breasts. Applying antiperspirants immediately after shaving will also result in a higher aluminum salt absorption rate due to damaged skin.

SOOOO, if you want to use a deoderant that is natural & works like a charm, try Tom's of Maine's Natural Long-Lasting Deodorant Stick. They have scents like Apricot, Lavender, Lemongrass, and even Unscented!

Their Long-Lasting Deodorant Stick, now with hops, fights odor three ways to keep you feeling fresh, naturally, all day:

Hops inhibit the growth of odor-causing bacteria. The antimicrobial action of hops inhibits the growth of odor-causing bacteria while reducing the possibility of skin irritation.
Zinc ricinoleate binds up odor molecules. Sourced from castor beans, zinc ricinoleate traps and absorbs bad smells.
Natural fragrance blocks odor. Encapsulating natural fragrance oils with silica shells makes them last longer.

ENJOY! I do!

I've tried Dove too, it just doesn't seem to work either and weight shouldn't matter anyways (I'm scrawny and the job I work at makes me sweat all the time).
I use any Secret brand, it works for me (and although you do sweat you don't have that awful scent).

I use dove, and it works and smells great on me. Although the best brand is Mitchum. I think it's the number one choice in the US.
