There is a website called PirateBay which has some neat programs on it you can search through but a good bit torrent downloader that I have found was called Bit Lord. It handles all your bit-torrents with very little problems and you don't even need to save the file to your desktop Bit Lord can run it straight from the website. It's pretty sweet. Saved me a bunch of times. I hope this helps you.

Limewire actually is not a torrent downloader.
I have bittorrent, but be careful where you download it.
however i think flashget is the best because it manages torrent downloads as well as normal downloads from the internet.
www.flashget.com it will be in japanese so click on the english on the top right corner.
flashget also ACCLERATES downloads so downloads will be much faster

as for good places to find torrents
torrentspy.com
mininova.org
utorrent.com
isohunt.com
torrentreactor.net
torrenttyphoon.com

that should get you started
