i just got a haircut a wile ago above my ears. and its been four weeks and it already grew 2 inches. i hope it continues to grow that fast. i heard when u get haircuts, your hair grows fast. since i got a hiarcut, my hair grows fast. Does the growing last long or just only a wile after you get a hiarcut??

It is very unlikely for hair to grow 2 inches in four weeks. The average is 1-2 cm per month for Caucasians and 0.5-1 cm / month for Afro hair. So 2"/4 weeks is twice the max, which is doubtful. Cutting hair does not affect the rate of hair growth.

that is just a myth, there is no product or anything you can do to make your hair grow faster. when you get your hair cut, you're getting rid of all the dead ends, so your hair looks healthier, and thus it may look longer, but it's really just an illusion. hair only grows 1/2" a month, so maybe it is just the way you're styling that makes it seem longer or something.
