I am traveling to Italy and have a layover in Paris (CDG). Could you give me some useful phrases to say in the airport. I don't want to say something bad you know with all the security and terriorst attacks.

everybody on CDG speaks english...i was there and i know...
if you wanna say some phrases just to see their reaction then:
you can ask someone what time it is: "Quelle heure est-il?"
you can always say: "merci beaucoup"-thank you very much
or if you wanna have some fun say to someone: " Chui québecois esti!" it means: I`m a quebecer damn it! lol

Whatever you say, don't say: "J'ai une grosse bombe dans mon sac." That would be very bad . . . unless you did have a big bomb in your bag. But I doubt you will.

Don't listen to erlampo!
