I think it depends on the colors. Yellow and purple tend to accent each other well - but for a wedding, you'd have to be REALLY careful. Because you don't want it to be a Lakers wedding, do you? Don't do lemon yellow and violet. Perhaps a really dark purple and an ivory base with goldish shimmer. Dark purple can be quite elegant, and the ivory/gold would mesh well with it.

As long as they're not too bright, they could be really pretty. I've seen quite a few bouquets that have light yellow and purple flowers and they were very nice. The Knot ( http://www.theknot.com ) has some pictures. Personally, I'd focus on the purple and use yellow as an accent in the flowers and centerpieces. They could work, though!

OK you sassy little devil - if you want yellow and purple and do it right, it will be beautiful. A wedding should be the bride's dream and everyone should keep any opinion to themselves and find a way to help make this the most beautiful choice ever and get it to work perfectly. I personally think it can work if you do it right.

Whatever you want your colors to be... they sound good for a spring wedding. But yellow and purple are complementary colors and they might be a little... overwhelming, ya know? But if you want them, go for it, it's your wedding and you should do whatever you want!

Depends on which shades you choose. I would choose one or the other and use the other as an occassional accent color.

My sister used them. They looked nice together. They are complimentary colours, so they are bright against each other.

It can work, you just can not over do it. Make it simple and it will turn out just fine.
