boil shrimp in a court bullion.

Court bullion is large pot of water, 4 Tbsp whole black pepper corns, 1 Tbsp whole cloves, 3 Tbsp paprika and 2 lemons cut in half. When this comes to a boil add the raw shrimp and cook until done. While shrimp is cooking get a large bowl of ice water ready. When shrimp is done take out of the court bullion and immediately place into the ice water. This is called shoking the shrimp. What this does is stops the cooking process so you don't end up with chewy shrimp. Serve with cocktail sauce.

Cocktail sauce:

1 cup ketchup
3 Tbsp prepared horseraddish
1 tsp. worstshire sauce
juice from 1/2 lemon

better than any store boughten brand

chop up some tomatoes, onion, cucumber, cilantro, celery, avocado (if you like it), defrost the shrimp (make sure they dont have the shell, mix it all together and add some Clamato. You've got urself a very inexpensive shrimp cocktail.

Dont like that? Want it hot?

Chop up some tomatoe, onion, bell peppers, maybe a garlic, sautte in a pan with the shrimp. You've got urself Shrimp fajita.

Wanted something Italian?

Cook up your favorite pasta. using the same ingridients as above add some Ragu and you've got seafood pasta.

Maybe you wanted something a little more fatty??

Wrap the shrimp in bacon and toss them in a pan until the bacon is crispy (or how ever you like it to be). Accompany it with some rice or some french fries.

See how easy that is!!!

Raise the heat to medium high.
Add shrimp and season with a little salt.
Cook until shrimp is almost done.
Add wine, cook until alcohol is burned off, about 1 minute.
Add the lemon juice and butter to finish.

You can throw it in a pot of water frozen then boil it till it's done. Serve with cocktail sauce. You can also season them up and saute them in butter. I like to skewer my shrimp, season with blackened or cajun seasoning and grill them. Then I serve them with blue cheese dressing.

if it is cooked and frozen, then thaw under cool running water, then toss with your favorite seasonings (I like lemon and garlic) and munch away.

if it is raw and frozen, is it peeled and deveined? if it is, then thaw, and heat with your favorite pasta sauce and serve over pasta.

if it is not peeled, then steam in beer and spices and have some peel-andeat of your own!!
