First, never let a guy know you are desperate --sometimes guys act like jerks if they know you're desperate. Second, you can't "make" someone fall for you --you can't force it. Just be yourself and there a subtle ways to let the guy know. Like show interest when he talks and the things he likes, and I don't mean that you have to like everything he likes but when you talk to him he should perceive that you have interest in him and that's why you want to know more about things he likes, ie football. Always make eye contact --this is very important and smile. If the guy can't figure it out then he's not for you. Move on. You deserve someone who wants to be with you.

Don't waste your time. Travel with some girlfriends, find a fellow who is more compatible. You can waste years waiting for this guy - never be desperate! Have fun with your friends and it will just happen - your knight in shining armor will come along.

Don't push him. And try not to flirt. Talk to him casually, but don't follow him around and bother him. Grow a close relationship, but not jump in. Let him get to know you, and then maybe, once you're good friends, let him know how you feel. OR, you could look pretty and act nice while being yourself at the same time (this should be you second option.. cuz trust me, its hard to be someone else and yourself all at once) to get him to make the first move.

Talk to him if your the shy type wait until a moment when your most comfortable dont just stand there and expect something to happen. If he doesnt notce you you need to make a move
