Last night i started having like gurgling in my stomach, it just kept growling. This morning when I woke up I had to go to the bathroom, and my stool was dark, runny and kind of tarry looking. At first it looked black, but when i wiped it was a green color on the tiolet paper, i know this is really gross but i just want to know what could be causing this? also, i just finished an antibiotic today, and i stopped taking mucinex, i don't know if this could contribute to it or not? Also, I'm not having any vomiting, or nausea, or anything of that sort, just the diarreah.

Call your doctor. Sometimes certain medications can cause stomach ulcers and they can bleed and cause the dark stools. My husband almost died from a bleeding ulcer while I was pregnant with our son.

Sometimes antibiotics will cause diarrhea. And it's not uncommon after being ill to have green stools.
I would watch it for a few days, if it continues, call your doctor.

this is melna ...which means that the blood is digested so the source of bleeding is in the stomach..
you have to seek advice
