A guy was sent down for 15 years for running around with a gun shooting innocent people, saying he wanted to shoot all blacks!
I personally feel this is an insult to the victims, and totally crazy to let such a headcase out into society ever again, does anyone have an opinion on this??? Or has the law REALLY become a complete a***?!

I am in actual fact referring to an incident which occured in Central London recently.

Of course I realise there are far worse in USA, but what happens there, happens here in the not too distant future!

No OUTPOST, I am NOT race traiter as you insinuate, as far as I am concerned there is only one race, THE HUMAN RACE!

Why should I HATE anyone, especially if I dont know them!?!?!?

Is this an insult; no the guy received punishment.
Is 15 years a fair punishment, I don't know, that is for the courts to decide.

Legal punishment has to be meted out in a fair manner and on a specific scale. It is a larger crime to murder someone than to accidentally hit someone with a car. Unless that person killed someone with his car or several people, and if it was done in the commission of a felony then the punishment would be greater.

Another words every case has its own special circumstances and must be judged independently. For that I have to trust the legal system. And because each case has subtle variations and differences the law is made complicated by precedents and other cases. Keeping on top of all this is the job of the lawyers and the courts so I have to put my faith in them. Otherwise the entire system starts to break down.

I don't know how many people this man shot, or killed or what mental state he was in. So I can't make a fair judgment. I do know that no matter what the punishment is most victims feel that it is enough. You are feeling some of this yourself.

As to something cruel and unusual like sticking male members into them I don't think that is fair or a valid punishment. In fact it is another crime called rape. Ideally the person would be treated for his mental condition before being released, but our jails are not designed to handle that. They have too many brutal people inside and so must be brutal to control them.

Mental hospitals are not very good either. Most of the staff are overworked, underpaid and have too much expected of them. The hospitals either serve as warehouses for the insane or as very temporary spots to hold people until they can be released for out patient care. That out patient care is not the best either for the same reasons. Mental Heath is not an exact science, although many elements of it come from an exact science (like medications). The biggest obstacle to treating a patient is the patient himself or herself. If a person doesn't want to get better, if they don't want to treat their racial hatred then they are not going to get any better. In a few cases where the mind suffers a chemical imbalance then this can be handled, until the patient relapses and they often do, failing to realize that they have to keep taking the medications for the rest of their life. In some cases a true break through can be made with the patient; people with acrophobia can fly on an airplane, but these people have to want to get better.

We live in a flawed world and we can only do so much to care for the misfits of society. Sometimes the best we can do is to handle the situation in a clumsy way, the best way we know how; with a graduated series of punishments. The worst thing about your case is that the man will probably go into prison and join a white supremacist gang that will only increase his racial hatred. Then he will carry that rage with him when he is finally released. Most criminals become habitual ones so there is a very good chance he will try something like this again. When that happens then he will be caught or killed and sentenced to jail once again.

reliable i got here upon the affection of my existence after i used to be 15 and he was once 17 despite the fact that i grew to alter into sixteen till now than he grew to become 18 so i assume this is diverse. If shes 14 and hes 18 on a similar time as this is kinda weirdd...despite the fact that i assume in the event that they arent being sexual or some concern than it fairly is thoroughly cool. Nothin too enormous.

The averge life sentence tariff for murder these days is usually 10 - 12 years so this guy has been more stiffly punished than most murderers. And regards the remarks by the answerer 'suck ma d**k - reinvented' that sounds just typical of people like you. Do you like the idea of sex with other men or is it just a power thing?

Yes, this is an insult. The punishment should always fit the crime. A life for a life, or at least put away for life, where he can't keep doing the same thing.

Our laws have become so lax that criminals don't have to even think twice before doing their evil deeds.

A judge also said that it wasn't a racially motivated attack, also two BNP members who had bombs and weapons have yet to be convicted, or released. Most of the racists on here probably activly supprot them. Why didn't the government give him a gun and send him to Iraq, those are the type of people they need. However, if they give me a gun and tell me i have to kill the enemy, guess where i'm going first.

It seems to me that once a horrible crime is committed, the victim and the victim's family is tossed aside and the criminal's rights are vigorously defended.

Go figure- I think the dude in your example should have his ticket canceled.

A hundred? At once? Or individually?
Are you condoning or encouraging homosexual rape? 'Cos it would seem to me to be one thing to argue that criminals should be punished, but quite another to imply that they should be sexually violated.
And what kind of psychopathology leads one to fantasise about the rape of a convicted murderer anyway? As so often, it turns out to be the law-and-order nuts who are the real psychos.
