Try staying away from light hair colors, like blond. Light colors will most likely (pending on how dark your complection is) make your hair look fake. Dark reds, Browns and blacks would look nice!

light color highlight on dark color hair would be a great combination

Black or dark brown. Please, don't color it brown or red or light brown or something like that because it looks extremely unnatural and its an eyesore. The best beauty is natural beauty...

I love black or brown hair, especially when it is long. My wife's hair is long (almost to her waist) & black with a strand of silver. Gorgeous!

I usually put red streaks in, it contrasts well with black. Reds and browns are always good.
