you can never truly change someone, they have to change them self.
Advice, you have the upper hand, you know he's a player, so use that to your advantage play the game a little let him know that you know hes a player but dont give your all to him make him work for it make him treat you better then the rest. after that hopefully he will see you as better than the rest and want to change to have a chance with you.

How old are U ? Think about what it is U want out of him and life ! Does he fit in it ? How much do U love your-self ? What do U think life with him is going 2 B like in 10 or 20 years ?

You can't change people. When he decides he wants to stop being a player he will. Outside influence wont help at all. He wont change until he is ready. Also why do you want to date a player? You will just get played and hurt.

If he is the way you say he is, he is going to "play" with you and move on to other pastures. Chances are that there are a lot of girls/women he likes "a little bit". I had a friend who used to be married who is like this.
