ok so my parents are at a party right now
do you think it would be ok if a friend came over
to work on sometihng for school
because im almost possitive they wouldnt mind because I kind of
did this before and nothing happened but im not sure
and when they come home what should i say so i dont get in trouble?

If you thought it was the right thing to do you would not be on here asking right now. If it wouldn't be a problem with your parents then why didn't you ask them before they left for the party? You know it is wrong and you are asking the permission of a bunch of people that do not know you, what kind of kid you are and how old you are. Not to mention the fact that you did not mention if it was a "boy" friend or a "girl" friend that you want to invite over while your parents are out.
So having raised 3 daughter of my own, my vote would be a big fat NO.

I honestly think that you should call them and ask- I think you must have their number just in case something would happen - so as a parent I would want to know things before I get home and find out.

As a parent myself I suggest that you ask your parents. If there is no contact information for them then see if you can go to the friends house to work on the project. Then leave your parent's a note so they are aware of where you are.

Call your parents and tell them what you are going to do and if you get the answering machine just tell it over the machine. Make sure you guys are truly working on school work because you might not like the consequences.

Yea it is ok because your doing something important. When they come home just tell them you thought it would be ok because you guys are doing school work and that you won't do it again.

Your asking the wrong people, I'd say if you can't get in touch with your parents to ask, then I'd say it's a no for tonight.

no i don't think it is ok for your friend to be there when your
parents are not there if your parents find out about what you
have down i know that you would be in a lot of troble

hi Katie,
i do not know ur age. further i guess friend means a boyfriend. when ur parents are not there means there is every possibility that anything may happen. ur friend may take disadvantage of u or u may get turned. so please avoid such things in future.

I think you should contact them and ask for permisson, they should have told you what you are allowed to do while they are away, so maybe they dont mind..

I think that you should try calling your parents just in case. if there is no answer just use your best judgement. My name is katie too =)
