In Australia, Tea is what us common folk refer to as the evening meal, or "Dinner". Eaten roughly between 6 and 9pm.

Tea, the beverage, is usually referred to as a "cuppa", and is enjoyed when guests arrive, for morning tea (mid morning), afternoon tea (mid afternoon), or anytime in between.

Cheers.
