im a girl and 18 years old i weigh 122 pounds and im 5"7", i want to loose 2 pounds. dont tell me not to loose 2 pounds cuz im skinny. if i eat 1000 calories a day will i loose the 2 pounds? how long will it take?? and what else should i do??

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

Yeah, 1000 calories is too little. You are supposed to have 1400 calories each day to avoid nutrient deficiency and keep your body running. But, it should take you about a week on average. The best way to loose it is to exercise every day for 30-60 minutes each day and eat healthy... Lean Cusine, Veggies, Lean Meat, Basic Food Guide Pyramid.. Good Luck.

Exercise is the key, really. But to answer your question--I'd say about a month. Sure, you can take those diet pills and lose weight in say, three days. But the weight that you lose by taking those pills is water weight--which can be gained as soon as you gulp a glass of water. To really burn the fat and calories, try some exercise. Jogging, swimming, tennis--you know. Take baby steps--a little at a time. Start jogging 1/4th a mile on the first week, then 1/2 on the second, etc.

And eating healthy is always a good way to keep your weight at its current level. :3

The body fluctuates a couple of pounds each day anyway! You may wake up tomorrow and be 120 pounds. I would not really worry about two pounds, as they come and go.

water or fat? water can be lost in a day, fat..it depends on how many more calories you drop. Try this. FOR ONE DAY ONLY. Morning: as much fresh pineapple as you want. Afternoon: as much fresh pineapple as you want. Dinner/evening: eat as much pineapple as you want...then when you don't want any more, eat two bannanas. (don't eat any more pineapple) the next day drink LOTS of water, carry a bottle with you. your body will be detoxing. (You'll be pooping BIG TIME!) and you'll lose about 2-3 pounds safely. good luck

maybe hit the gym sometimes and work out more and if you eat a lot of fast food cut down on that to good luck

about a week or maybe less, but it is a average weight loss and if you only lose 2 a week it is less chance you will put it back on

i dont think u need to loose any - everyone is diferent- maybe 2 months.
