I am almost 16. I still have not had a girlfriend. I'm straight, play sports, have a 4.0 gpa, and I don't smoke/drink. What do I need to do differently?

Stop worrying. You are 16 years old. Your identity isn't determined by whether or not you have a girlfriend. Do not change who you are to attract a girl. Just be yourself. Not every girl likes the same type of guy. The one that is attracted to you will only be attracted to you if you are being YOURSELF not trying to be someone else. You do not not need to do anything differently other than worrying less about things. Be confident in who you are right now.

Nothing is wrong with you, and you don't need to do anything differently. Sometimes that's just the way it is.
Some people start dating at 13, some start at 23... doesn't mean they're weird or moving too fast or too slow. It's just the luck of the draw. Your turn hasn't come up yet. Just keep working on developing the best YOU you know how to be, and compatible people will be drawn to you.

There is nothing wrong with you, you kind of sound perfect. I am 16, in band, have a 3.78 gpa and i don't smoke/drink and I have never had a boyfriend so if there's something wrong with you then theres something wrong with me. You just haven't met the right girl who will apprecitate you for who you are.

Honestly--just be yourself. My friend is on the same exact boat as you are, and she's a wonderful person. If I weren't straight, I'd date her.

But anyways. Just be yourself. You have a whole life ahead of you, and it's not too practical to jump into the dating world so fast anyway. I may speak this because pretty soon, I'll be facing the same exact situation, but I think that if you continue to focus on your studies, you'll have a girlfriend in the near future. :]

...that came out really corny, didn't it?

nothing- you sound like a great guy.. just be yourself and someone will come along! It's awesome that you don't drink and smoke (don't get into that- it really can turn lots of girls off!!)
Maybe the girls are intimidated by you..~ atheletic, good grades, all around good package.... just be friendly and talk to everyone (don't get yourself put into a group - such as prep, nerd, jock...)
good luck!!

if you're interested in a particular girl then you could always ask her to go on a group date with you.. invite some of your friends along and have her invite some of her friends (both of you won't feel as pressured and you can see how you get along outside of school events..)

don't do anything different. unless maybe you don't talk to girls. if you don't , try starting conversations with them. ask them aboyt themselves. do you ever see a particular girl watching you at your sports events? mayeb someone has a crush on you but is too shy to tell you. alot of guys don't have a girlfriend while in school. my brother didn't. he met his wife at like 22 and they are still together after over 10 years. so just keep on being you and the right girl will come along. if you are shy about girls in your school, try going to a sports event in a different town!

Nothing really, I had my first girlfriend at the age of 14, but after that I haven't had one ever since and I'm 19 years old. So you can't really prepare yourself for that, sooner or later you'll find a girlfriend, don't worry about it.

Smoke...drink...ditch school - chicks dig the bad boys.

Kidding! Just be patient. Have you ever even asked a girl out??? What happens do you get rejected?
