sweety.....ignore them....15 years from now when you eventually put on a few pounds, all these people who are telling you how skinny you are all the time will be bloated cows and wishing they had your body

dont feel bad about yourself....you are simply petite and that is nothing to feel bad about

Your weight sounds fine to me for your age. Some people may think they are complimenting you. Ask your doctor at your next checkup -- your body build is probably just designed not to be too chunky. Be grateful!

A weight of 100 at 5'3 for a 13-year old is definitely within the normal weight range. Maybe they have a problem, not you. Unless you're going out for some rough sport where you'll get killed by bigger players, I don't think you have a problem.

Just keep eating healthy foods from all the food groups including dairy, milk, etc. and you should be fine. If you want to build a little muscle, then lift weights or run or walk more.

I have the same problem, I'm 5'2 and weigh 99 pounds. It's incredibly annoying hearing people always commenting on how skinny I am. I recently went to the doctor and had her run a lot of blood tests to see if there was any reason behind this. You should do the same.

hey i am in a similar situation, i am 14 years old, 5'2" and weigh 95 pounds. just ignore everyone.. anyway wouldnt u rather be skinny than fat? some might even be jealous... so long as you are eating healthy and excerising then great dont listen to anyone, because i eat healthy with the odd junk here and there but i do sports so i somehow work it off and i am considered "petite" nd size 4/6 or smallest size a shop has.

i'm 13 too. at my school, people will say, "wow, u r skinny!" as a compliment, even when they r just the same around the belly. u should take it as a compliment, unless u look in the mirror and think to yourself, "wow. that's pretty freaky. i look anorexic!" u can try chocolate and penutbutter shakes or eat lots of cookies if u r really concerned. but 100 pounds at 5'3'' seems pretty normal to me. just tell those people to back off cuz it's starting to get old. or say "u r pretty skinny too!" and if they tell u that u r skinny again,u tell them that same reply agian. and again and again until it gets old for them. hope this helps!!!

I'm 5'3" and 100 pounds also! If you are eating healthy enough dont worry about your weight, it is a normal wieght for a small girl like you. The people who tell you that you are too skinny probably dont understand that you have a fast metabolism. No matter how much you eat, youll probably stay around that wieght. Don't worry about it so much, be who you are. If they dont like it then tough.

As long as you are eating and do not have an eating disorder then just ignore the kids and teachers.
I have a son who is turning 15 this year and who is about 5'5 he weighs 37kilos which is really light. He is half the size of the other kids, but his brother has filled out and I think he will as well.
I tend to feed him lots of carbs and pasta is great as he races supercross so needs heaps of energy.
In a world where everyone is over weight it is fine to be skinny as long as you do eat.
So just ignore the people as when they are on a jenny craig diet you will be looking just fine.
If you really do want to gain weight try drinking chocolate sustagen as I have my son on that as well as protein shakes before he races.

I am 5'6 and 95 pounds and I am 13 too. It is nothing to be ashamed of. You are just skinnier than everyone else and you can't help it. As long as you're not trying to be that skinny like anerexic or something ignore them. You will start gaining some wait soon. So what if your skinny. Just don't let them hurt your feellings.

You are a little underweight, but you only need to gain about 5 more pounds to be at an ideal weight. Don't worry about what people say, as long as you know that you are taking care of yourself that is all that matters.

you know what...you do sound very skinny but not like anorexic or anything. you just keep doing what you do....exercise and eat well and if they don't stop telling you that then just ignore them....they are probably just jealous or if you really want to gain the weight don't work out and eat and excess of food that is high in calories and fat....that'll do it but you sound just fine especially considering your only 13 years old.
