Don't Worry!!!! You will still get your great Sirius Programing on your Sirius Radio. The Price Might go up a bit but not much due to the fact there compeating with FM/Am/ HD Radio. You wont see any changes until the end of 2007 and early 2008. Nothing is really offical yet. I can keep you up to date on this. Email me at thecoolman@taa.zzn.com

IF the merger goes through,

Your Sirius radio will still work, but only to receive Sirius programming. If you want receive both Sirius and XM as well, you'd have to buy a new receiver than can receive both signals and programming.

Anyone who tells you that pricing for satellite radio will go down must be trying to sell subscriptions, because both Sirius and XM are swimming in red ink after overspending on talent (Howard Stern, Oprah) and sports (MLB, NFL, NASCAR). They need a way to defray their costs. The merger is one part. Raising subscription rates will be the other one, possibly.

Unfortunately it's the government who has the final word. They are policing themselves. This merger is a no brainer. It should be a done deal. Lobbyist money at it's finest. The only way for justice is to vote these skunks out of office. It's the only final word we have.
